PAHT-CF 3D Printing Service
Bambu Lab PAHT-CF· High-temperature carbon fibre nylon that stays strong in heat and humidity.
Made in Navi Mumbai · Free delivery in Mumbai · Shipped across India
PAHT-CF is a high-temperature nylon reinforced with carbon fibre. Compared with PA6-CF, it absorbs less moisture and withstands more heat, so its strength stays consistent in humid air, outdoors, or close to motors and engines. That makes it especially well suited to Mumbai, where monsoon humidity weakens ordinary nylons.
We print PAHT-CF at our studio in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, on an enclosed Bambu Lab X2D with a hardened nozzle, and deliver free across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

About Bambu Lab PAHT-CF
Bambu Lab PAHT-CF is a high-temperature polyamide reinforced with carbon fiber, made for demanding engineering applications. It combines excellent heat resistance with high strength and stiffness, and it absorbs less moisture than standard nylons, so parts keep their mechanical performance even in humid conditions. It's ideal for functional parts that need to withstand heat, load, and long-term use.
- High heat resistance for parts exposed to elevated temperatures
- Excellent strength, stiffness, and impact toughness
- Low moisture absorption, so it holds its performance in humid environments
- Carbon fiber reinforcement for dimensional stability and low warping
- Premium matte finish that hides layer lines
- Ideal for automotive parts, drone components, jigs, fixtures, and brackets
What PAHT-CF is best for
- Under-bonnet automotive and EV brackets
- Drone parts exposed to sun, heat and rain
- Motor mounts and parts near heat sources
- Outdoor enclosures and fixtures
- Industrial jigs used near ovens or hot processes
- Functional end-use parts for humid environments
PAHT-CF strengths and limitations
Strengths
- Heat deflection up to about 194 °C, among the highest in FDM printing
- Absorbs less moisture than PA6-CF, so strength stays steady in Mumbai humidity
- Better elongation than PA6-CF (8.4%), so it is less brittle
- Light and stiff, with a clean matte carbon finish
Limitations
- Slightly less stiff than PA6-CF when both are dry
- Black only, since the carbon fibre sets the colour
- Costs more than PLA or PETG, so prototype in PLA first if the design may change

- Minimum hole diameter
- 2 mm; ream or drill for bearing fits
- Clearance for moving fits
- 0.3–0.5 mm per side
- Part orientation
- Align the main load with the print layers (XY), not across them
- Threads and inserts
- Heat-set brass inserts work well; we can fit them for you
- Typical tolerance

PAHT-CF 3D printing FAQ
01 What does PAHT-CF stand for?
PAHT-CF means high-temperature polyamide (nylon) reinforced with carbon fibre. "HT" refers to its higher heat resistance compared with standard PA6 nylon.
02 Is PAHT-CF better than PA6-CF?
It depends on where the part will be used. PAHT-CF handles more heat and absorbs less moisture, so it is better for humid, outdoor or hot environments. PA6-CF is marginally stiffer when dry. In Mumbai conditions, PAHT-CF usually gives more consistent long-term performance.
03 How much heat can PAHT-CF parts take?
PAHT-CF has a heat deflection temperature of up to about 194 °C, so it holds its shape near motors, engines and other heat sources where PLA, PETG and ABS would soften.
04 Can PAHT-CF be used outdoors?
Yes. Its low moisture absorption and heat resistance make it a strong choice for outdoor parts such as drone components and enclosures that see sun and monsoon rain.
05 Do you ship PAHT-CF 3D printed parts across India?
