Who we are
Navi3D ("Navi3D", "we", "us", "our") is a hardware and software workshop based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We operate the website at navi3d.in and the tools hosted on it. We manufacture 3D printed parts (FDM and SLA), cut sheet material on a 10W laser, and design and build custom drones.
Throughout these terms, "you" means the person or organisation using the website, our tools or our manufacturing services. "Services" means all of them together.
Accepting these terms
By browsing navi3d.in, requesting a quote, placing an order, or using Mould Studio or Drone Studio, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order or hold an account with us.
Accounts
Some features — order history, saved quotes and Mould Studio Premium — require a Navi3D account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
Tell us at [email protected] immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, that are used for fraud, or that attempt to evade usage limits.
A Premium pass is tied to the account that purchased it. It is for your own use and may not be shared, resold or transferred.
What we provide
- Manufacturing. FDM and SLA 3D printing, and 10W laser cutting, produced at our Navi Mumbai facility and shipped across India.
- Shop. Ready-made parts, drone frames and kits sold directly from the website.
- Custom drones. Frame design, assembly and firmware work, quoted per project.
- Instant quote calculator. Upload a model and receive an automated price for the selected process and material.
- Mould Studio. A browser tool that turns an uploaded model into print-ready mould pieces. Free tier and paid Premium pass.
- Drone Studio. A browser tool for firmware flashing, PID tuning, live telemetry and blackbox log replay.
We may add, change, suspend or retire any part of the Services. Where a change materially affects a paid feature you are currently subscribed to, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
Quotes, pricing & tax
Prices shown by the instant quote calculator are generated automatically from the geometry you upload and the options you select. They are an offer to manufacture that specific file with those specific settings.
We reserve the right to review a quote before accepting an order and to contact you if the model is not manufacturable as submitted — for example if it is not watertight, has walls below the minimum printable thickness, or exceeds our build volume. In those cases we will offer a revised quote or decline the order and refund any amount already paid.
Prices are in Indian Rupees unless a different currency is shown at checkout. Applicable GST is added at billing and shown on your invoice. International orders may be zero-rated as an export of services where permitted; any customs duties, import taxes or local charges in the destination country are yours to pay.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card details. International payments are accepted by card only.
Orders & manufacturing
An order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive an order confirmation from us. "Production has started" means we have begun slicing, machine setup, printing, cutting or assembly for your order — whichever happens first.
Lead times shown on the website (typically 2–4 days for FDM and laser, 3–5 days for SLA) are estimates from the start of production, not guarantees. Complex parts, post-processing, bulk quantities and material availability can extend them. We will tell you if your order will be materially delayed.
Manufactured parts carry the normal characteristics of the process used: visible layer lines on FDM, support-contact marks on SLA, and kerf and light edge discolouration on laser-cut material. Dimensional tolerance varies by process, geometry and material. These characteristics are not defects.
You are responsible for the design you submit. We manufacture what you send. We do not verify that a part is fit for its intended purpose, and we do not carry out structural, thermal, electrical or safety engineering on your behalf unless we have agreed to do so in writing as a separate design engagement.
Cancellations, returns & refunds
Our policy differs by product, because a digital pass, a stocked part and a made-to-order part are genuinely different things. Please read the one that applies to you.
Mould Studio Premium
No refunds, cancellations or exchanges after purchase.
The Premium pass is a digital product delivered instantly. The moment payment is verified, your account is upgraded and every paid feature — unlimited generations, fine and custom resolutions, CAD-exact refinement, the silhouette parting surface, multi-part moulds and STEP import — becomes available immediately. Because the entire product is consumed the instant it is delivered, all sales are final.
The free tier exists precisely so you can evaluate the tool before paying. It runs the same geometry engine and produces real, downloadable mould STLs. We strongly encourage you to use it first.
A pass runs for the stated number of days from activation. It does not renew automatically, and it is not pro-rated if you stop using it. If a payment was charged but your account was not upgraded, that is a technical failure, not a refund request — email [email protected] with your payment ID and we will fix it or return the money.
Ready-made parts & kits
Returns are accepted only where the item arrives damaged, and an unboxing video is required.
To claim, you must record a single continuous unboxing video that starts before the shipping package is opened and clearly shows:
- the sealed package with the shipping label legible;
- the package being opened, without cuts or edits;
- the item being removed; and
- the damage itself, in focus.
Send the video to [email protected] with your order number within 48 hours of delivery. Claims without a qualifying unboxing video cannot be verified against transit damage and will not be accepted.
Once we approve a claim we will replace the item or refund it, at our option. We do not accept returns for change of mind, for a part that does not fit your application, or for the normal process characteristics described in section 06.
Quoted & custom manufacturing
Cancellable before production starts. Once production has started, no refund is possible.
This covers everything priced through the instant quote calculator and every custom drone, design or manufacturing engagement. Parts are cut or printed specifically for you and have no resale value to anyone else, which is why the cut-off is production start.
To cancel, contact [email protected] as early as you can with your order number. If we have not begun production, we will cancel and refund you in full. If production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded — though we will always talk through the options with you.
If a delivered custom part is damaged in transit, the unboxing video requirement above applies in the same way. If a part is genuinely defective — it does not match the file you supplied, or the material or process you paid for — tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we will remake it at no charge.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Shipping charges already incurred are not refundable except where the fault is ours.
Shipping & delivery
We ship across India through third-party couriers. Delivery estimates are provided by the courier and are outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.
Please give a complete, accurate address and a reachable phone number. We are not responsible for parcels that fail to deliver, are returned or are lost because of an incorrect address or an uncontactable recipient; re-shipping in those cases is chargeable.
If a parcel is visibly damaged on arrival, record the unboxing video described in section 07 before opening it further.
Mould Studio
Mould Studio runs entirely on our servers. You upload a model, we voxelise the geometry, sweep a demouldable cavity, carve the feed system and return print-ready mould STLs with a report.
Free tier. A limited number of generations per calendar day (reset at midnight IST) at standard resolution, with no account required. We identify free-tier usage using a browser fingerprint combined with your IP address, purely to enforce that limit — see the Privacy Policy. Attempting to circumvent the limit is a breach of these terms.
Premium. Unlocks unlimited generations, fine and custom voxel resolutions, CAD-exact cavity refinement, the silhouette-following parting surface, four- and six-part moulds, STEP import and a larger input-mesh limit, for the stated period. See section 07 for the refund position.
Accuracy is a specification, not a promise about your part. Standard precision is voxel-accurate; CAD-exact precision projects cavity vertices onto the true offset surface of your geometry and is accurate to approximately ±0.01 mm on that surface. Those figures describe the generated geometry only. The dimensions of a finished casting also depend on your printer, your resin or plaster, shrinkage, temperature and technique — none of which we control. Always test a mould before committing to a production run.
The tool requires a watertight mesh. Draft angle tapers core pins that form holes, undercut relief deliberately carves material to make pieces demouldable, and both are reported in the generated report. Read the warnings in that report before printing.
Generated files are stored so we can serve your download link. Download links are not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely — save your files locally.
Drone Studio & drones
Drone Studio flashes firmware, tunes PIDs, streams telemetry and replays blackbox logs from your browser. Flashing firmware and changing tuning parameters carries real risk: an incorrect configuration can cause loss of control, damage or injury. You use these features at your own risk and are responsible for bench-testing any change before flight.
You are responsible for complying with all applicable drone regulations, including registration, UIN/UAOP requirements, no-fly zones and operating rules issued by the DGCA and any local authority. We do not provide regulatory clearance with a drone or a part.
Batteries, motors and electronics supplied by us must be used within their rated specifications. We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from operation outside those ratings, from crash damage, or from modifications made after delivery.
Your files & intellectual property
You keep your designs. Uploading a model to Navi3D does not transfer any ownership. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process, manufacture and deliver what you asked for — nothing else. We do not sell your models, publish them, or use them to train anything.
You confirm that you own the rights to every file you upload, or have permission to have it manufactured. You are responsible for any third-party rights in the designs you submit.
We may photograph parts we produce for our portfolio. If you would rather we did not, tell us at any time and we will exclude your work.
We keep our software. The website, Mould Studio, Drone Studio, the quote engine, our geometry algorithms and all of our branding remain our property. You may not copy, decompile, scrape, resell or build a competing service from them.
The mould STLs, quotes and reports that our tools generate for you are yours to use commercially, including for parts you sell.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to make or attempt to make:
- firearms, firearm components, ammunition, or any other weapon;
- counterfeit goods, currency, identity documents, security devices or anything designed to defeat a lock, seal or access control;
- items that infringe someone else's copyright, trademark, design right or patent;
- anything illegal under Indian law, or unlawful in the destination we are shipping to.
You also agree not to:
- evade free-tier limits by manipulating fingerprints, rotating IPs or creating multiple accounts;
- automate, scrape or load-test our tools without written permission;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other customers' data or generated files.
We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, and we may suspend accounts that breach this section. Where we decline an order under this section before production, we refund it in full.
Warranties & liability
We provide the Services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, the website and the browser tools are provided "as is". We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated geometry will suit every application.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Navi3D is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost production time, lost data, or the cost of a failed casting, print or flight.
Where we are found liable, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order or pass that gave rise to it.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us at [email protected]. Almost everything is faster to resolve directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our products change. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the website. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
The terms that applied when you placed an order continue to govern that order.
